]]> Ever since I ventured up the mountains around Kelowna, I have been obsessed with shooting there! Three years ago when my cousin and her husband were getting married, I envisioned taking photos of them overlooking the city in magical golden hour light. However on their wedding day in 2017, wildfire smoke filled the air, so we decided to use a different location. This year, they decided to move out of the Okanagan Valley. I had no intention of letting them leave Kelowna without taking these photos.

We brought some drinks for a long-overdue celebration, on the mountain top. Cheers to their three year anniversary, Kat’s recent graduation, and to their new adventure in Alberta. The sky definitely delivered!

I truly believe to capture a beautiful photo, you have to be doing something fun. Let your true self show in the photos and going on an adventure always helps!
