Dino contacted me about two weeks prior to the day, to ask me to photograph this amazing surprise. uhhmmmmm hell yes!  How could I say no?  He told me that he was going to ask his lady to marry him and assuming she said yes, the wedding would happen right after.  Aurea’s daughters were in on the whole day from keeping her busy all day at the spa, to buying her dress.

When I arrived at the Harvest golf club I could feel the excitement and pure joy on everyone’s face.  We waited out on the back deck, awaited the arrival of Aurea.  As she walked out, you could see the shock on her face as everyone broke into song singing Happy Birthday. 

  
As she was watching everyone sing, Dino made his move.  He snuck behind her and dropped to one knee, surprise number 2.

She said yes!

Then he whispered surprise number 3 to her….. they were getting married right then and there and everyone was there for the wedding! Aurea had the best range of facial expressions! I couldn’t narrow them down to just a few photos.
It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a sunny Okanagan wedding.  The plan was flawless, just like the stunning bride.
