One of the biggest compliments is when past clients and fellow photographers refer their friends to me!!! I was nervous meeting Dakota and Erik, as we had already rescheduled twice because of the weather, and I was worried it was going to happen again. LUCKILY, the weather played nice, and did it ever play nice! About halfway through our shoot the clouds parted and gave us such incredible light!

This was one of my favourite shoots this fall! I had an absolute blast capturing these two and all their quirky love for one another.

The Rollers| Kelowna Family Photographer

I’ve known this Momma since I was in my early twenties and I have been fortunate enough to have watched her and her little family grow. We shoot content throughout the year for her fitness journey, but this was my first time wrangling the whole family together!

It’s people like Jana and her family that keep me doing what I’m doing. I actually have the best job!

For the Roller’s session, we adventured through the gorgeous fall leaves that could not have been more perfect on this day!

Amanda & Adam | UBC Kelowna Wedding

Amanda & Adam booked their wedding photography with me while living in a different province. That means, our first meeting was there engagement photos at the end of August, check them out here. After meeting them for the engagement photos, I knew their wedding was going to be a lot of fun.

Amanda and Adam decided the best place for them to get married was the place they met and had their first dates! *swoon* How cute is that?! So their wedding ceremony was held at UBC in Kelowna in the main courtyard by the fountain. As the ceremony was approaching, so did the rain. With a last minute adjustment the ceremony began.

Words cannot describe how classically beautiful Amanda looked amongst the fall colours. Of course, Adam was looking handsome as well. The rain allowed us to take some very cool photos inside the Fipke building. Finally the rain let up and we ventured out to take advantage of the fall colours surrounding the courtyard.

I showed up to the reception, Ellison Hall, and was blown away by the party that went down! From the shoe game, to a photo booth, to the photo booth props hitting the dance floor…. everyone was there to have fun!

This was my last wedding of the year and it was the perfect way to end a year. Amazing couple, gorgeous fall colours and a super fun reception!

Once Adam had signed the papers and was officially married to Amanda, he was one happy man. I absolutely love this photo!

Adam’s sisters had the best speech! Complete with props from his childhood! Hands down, best speech to date!

Alison & Chris | Prince George Engagement Photographer

In September during my road trip to Northern B.C., Alison and Chris were the 2^nd stop on my trip. I had been to Prince George many times but this would be my first time doing photos here and I was excited to see what locations they had chosen. As we arrived at our first location, Alison told me that this place was special to them. This is where they had their first date! It means SO much to me that they took me to a spot that meant so much to them both!

I met Alison about 5 years ago through some mutual friends and had heard her talk about how she couldn’t wait to meet the perfect guy. About 2 years ago, she moved up to Prince George and ended up meeting Mr. Perfect. I was excited when she said she was bringing her man down to Kelowna to meet us all. I was THRILLED to find out he had popped the question!
We took our time during their shoot, wondering around Connaught hill hearing stories about their first dates and the significance of the single rose that he brought for her on their first dates. I loved getting to know Chris better and watching Alison light up when he talked about their life together. For our second location we headed over to Cottonwood Park, where they had had their second date!

I could go ON and ON about these two! How hard they laughed together, how sweet they are, how they’re always holding hands and how they steal kisses from each other whenever possible!

Thank you so so much for an AMAZING night!! I had such an amazing time and it meant so much to me that you showed me your first date location!! I cannot wait to watch you two get married in 2017!

Carlee, Steve, Nahla | Valentines Day | Kelowna Portrait Photographer

Who knew a message about a sweater on a Facebook Shop and Swap page would lead to a fun Valentines Day photo shoot. When I met Carlee I completely fell in love with her dog Nahla. She is just the coolest dog, who has her own wardrobe! I had asked Carlee about doing a shoot with her hound and she was thrilled. I mean, when your dog is this adorable why wouldn’t you want photos of her? After many reschedules, due to the weather, we ended up doing the shoot on Valentines Day. Steve was planning to meet up with us after work, but on the morning of the shoot he suprised Carlee by having the day off.
