Dakota & Erick | Okanagan Fall Couples Session

One of the biggest compliments is when past clients and fellow photographers refer their friends to me!!! I was nervous meeting Dakota and Erik, as we had already rescheduled twice because of the weather, and I was worried it was going to happen again. LUCKILY, the weather played nice, and did it ever play nice! About halfway through our shoot the clouds parted and gave us such incredible light!

This was one of my favourite shoots this fall! I had an absolute blast capturing these two and all their quirky love for one another.

Amanda & Braden | Knox Mountain Engagement Session

Last summer I met the the most adorable little family!

Amanda and Braden brought the whole family for their shoot, including their dogs, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled! Knox mountain is one of my favorite spots to shoot in the downtown area. Mountain and city views and dog friendly, it never disappoints!

I adored meeting these two and could’ve photographed them forever!

Alison & Chris | Prince George Engagement Photographer

In September during my road trip to Northern B.C., Alison and Chris were the 2^nd stop on my trip. I had been to Prince George many times but this would be my first time doing photos here and I was excited to see what locations they had chosen. As we arrived at our first location, Alison told me that this place was special to them. This is where they had their first date! It means SO much to me that they took me to a spot that meant so much to them both!

I met Alison about 5 years ago through some mutual friends and had heard her talk about how she couldn’t wait to meet the perfect guy. About 2 years ago, she moved up to Prince George and ended up meeting Mr. Perfect. I was excited when she said she was bringing her man down to Kelowna to meet us all. I was THRILLED to find out he had popped the question!
We took our time during their shoot, wondering around Connaught hill hearing stories about their first dates and the significance of the single rose that he brought for her on their first dates. I loved getting to know Chris better and watching Alison light up when he talked about their life together. For our second location we headed over to Cottonwood Park, where they had had their second date!

I could go ON and ON about these two! How hard they laughed together, how sweet they are, how they’re always holding hands and how they steal kisses from each other whenever possible!

Thank you so so much for an AMAZING night!! I had such an amazing time and it meant so much to me that you showed me your first date location!! I cannot wait to watch you two get married in 2017!

Amanda & Adam | Kelowna Engagment Photographer

Amanda & Adam came all the way from Edmonton for their engagement session. When Amanda told me she wanted to do the shoot in down town Kelowna to recreate some of their first dates I was ecstatic! They were even bringing their bikes, to incorporate them into the shoot! To top it off she mentioned that they wanted to have a picnic on Adam’s moms dock and end it by jumping into the lake! And that we did!

I had so much fun shooting their engagement photos and cannot wait for their fall wedding at UBC Kelowna.

Carlee, Steve, Nahla | Valentines Day | Kelowna Portrait Photographer

Who knew a message about a sweater on a Facebook Shop and Swap page would lead to a fun Valentines Day photo shoot. When I met Carlee I completely fell in love with her dog Nahla. She is just the coolest dog, who has her own wardrobe! I had asked Carlee about doing a shoot with her hound and she was thrilled. I mean, when your dog is this adorable why wouldn’t you want photos of her? After many reschedules, due to the weather, we ended up doing the shoot on Valentines Day. Steve was planning to meet up with us after work, but on the morning of the shoot he suprised Carlee by having the day off.
